Watchmen fans DON'T KILL ME!!!! I've made a Watchmen OC cus 1) I was greatly inspired after the movie (no I haven't read the original graphic novel yet but I plan to so again DON'T KILL ME!!!). And 2) I like her design (even though looking back she looks a bit much like the original Silk Spectre II design but meh).
Anyway, she comes from a family of an abusive father and a big sister. Her big sis would put up w/ all the abuse from their dad so he wouldn't hurt her. When she was 19 her and her sis (25) left to be acrobats at the circus which was happy and fun for a while until the circus burned down w/ her sis inside killing her instantly. After five years she picked up the persona of Curtain Call using her acrobatic skills and street smarts to stop crime. Rorschach discovers her after she helped him in a case and said she should join the Watchmen and she did. She greatly admires Rorschach although he doesn't really give a shit (that's just how he is) and Dan (Nite Owl) becomes her sort of older brother. That's it for now w/o giving away spoilers from the movie. The name Curtain Call was inspired by the Muse song "Take a Bow". Her outfir is light blue w/ the stripes being black. Her hair is either black or blonde (not sure :/). The thing covering her ear is a communicator and she has black boots and blue eyes. Watchmen (c) Alan Moore Curtain Call and pic (c) mine |

Thank you for making an actual back story lol (I like the circus part). And for making Rorschach stay in character lol (after all, he doesn't trust women).
Also, there's only small similarities between Silk Spec's costume and your characters. The only ones I can see are the choker and just the skirt idea. Other than that, it's quite different.
Sorry for writing you a story here, I just appreciate that you made a character without butchering the story, like most girls ...and p.s I think she'd do good as a blond lol.

And, this is kinda weird and a bit off topic, but she seems like she'd fit into the Batman universe too. She's got that quirkiness (and for some reason she reminds me of Robin, even though they are vastly different, save the circus lol).
